As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been making cards for the faculty and staff of our elementary school and sending them on behalf of the PTA executive board.  Here’s the birthday card I sent to our principal earlier this month.

I’ve had the Stampin’ Up Bali Breeze designer paper pack for about a year now, and I have to admit I’ve had a hard time using some of the papers in it.  I challenged myself to use some of the pink designs for this card.  I matched the lighter pink to some Bazzill cardstock I’ve been hoarding, and added some Purely Pomegranate ink and ribbon to the mix.  The layout is a complete CASE of this card that was made by my friend Victoria.

I’m happy to say that the principal thanked me for the card (she knows I’m doing this for the PTA) and said I was “always so creative.”  Um, maybe not always…  (insert angelic looking smiley here, lol).

Supplies:
Stamps: Birthday Whimsy, On Your Birthday (Stampin’ Up!)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Purely Pomegranate, Bali Breeze designer paper (Stampin’ Up!), pink Bazzill Basics from an old monochromatic pack
Ink: Purely Pomegranate (Stampin’ Up!)
Other: Purely Pomegranate ribbon (Stampin’ Up!), corner rounder, sponge

  1. Fantastic take on the card. Thank you for the compliment of CASEing me:-) I love the monochrome work you did. Might have to CASE your CASE.

  2. Love this Patricia!!! It’s so clean-cut! Awesome!
