Today’s card was done for a challenge at Splitcoaststampers a couple of weeks ago. We were to get inspiration from an online shop, Candy Crate’s Retro Candy Store. I found some bubble gum which immediately made me think of my neglected Best of Cluck stamp set. I decided to borrow my color scheme from the inspiration candy, too. The layout is, IMO, an “oldie but goodie” – Lizzie Anne Designs Sketch Challenge #81.
As I was working on the card, I had a recipient in mind for it. The little red chick represents my friend, who doesn’t seem to mind being her own unique person. Inside the card I’m planning to write something like “to a chick who stands out from the crowd.” I hope she likes it!
