One of my good friends has been going through some rough times the last few months. She is a truly caring, warmhearted, kind person, and she’s also a totally amazing crafter. Unfortunately, she doesn’t always see those qualities lying within herself. So I made this card for her and gave it to her with a few things to help keep her creative juices flowing. The sentiment on the card sums up my feelings perfectly – I’m so very glad, and lucky, to have her as a friend.
The card uses the Lizzie Anne Designs Sketch Challenge 119 layout. (Didn’t I say in my last post that I’d probably be using this sketch again? :)) I have to say that I’m pretty dang proud of how well the bow turned out for me. I totally stink at tying bows, which is why I usually just tie ribbons in a knot. This one actually turned out looking like a bow for me. I decided to try using Liquid Pearls for the center of the large flower.
