I’m breaking away from the birthday cards today to share something different. My online group of bestest girls recently gave a “virtual baby shower” to one of our members who is expecting to have her little boy any day now. For our virtual shower, the people in the group made thank you cards that the new mom and dad can use for the gifts they receive, and we also took up a collection that was used to purchase a Target gift card for them.
I made three thank you cards, all the same design, and here’s what they looked like. You might recognize the layout because I used it on a valentine earlier this year. (Thanks again, V, for letting me CASE it!) It’s probably hard to see in the photo (because it was difficult enough to see in real life) but I stamped the white panel with Stampin’ Up’s Linen background stamp in VersaMark ink to try to coordinate better with the textured look of the designer paper.
Lots of good wishes to my friend for some physical comfort and sleep during the last days of her pregnancy, and for a smooth labor and delivery!
