Hello, and Happy New Year!  I’ve decided to join in Operation Write Home‘s annual “Top Cards of the Year” blog hop again this year.

top13

This time it’s a little bit different – instead of a Top Ten, they’ve changed it up to be the Top 13 of 2013!  Which is fine by me – the more cards, the more fun, and besides, it’s pretty hard for me to narrow my top picks down to only 10 cards!  So I’ve chosen one card from each month, and added one more that I really liked.  Links to the original posts can be found under each photo; you can click on them if you’d like details on each card.

  1. Your love sure comes through in your cards – awesome job on all of them. The CAS lines of March and September’s cards are my favorite. Very classy. Thanks for being part of OWH.

  2. hi- I enjoyed looking at all of your cards- i have some of the same stamps and I am reminded to pull them out and use them!! I love the mailbox for August and your little birdies for December are so adorable! I love the layers you use- really nice impact on the cards! TFS and happy New Year!

  3. All the layers and textures you use, the little embellishments such as the pearl mistletoe, wonderfully colored images (love that big eared bunny card!) made many lovely cards that were sure to bring lots of smiles to the recipients !

  4. Oh my, I like so many things about the cards you’ve chosen…the curved strip next the the heart in November, the red, white and blue for April, the Christmas cards throughout the year. Wonderful cards, Patricia!

  5. You have a great eye for color and design, and each and every card shown here could be a favorite!! I’m especially drawn to the rich reds and blues of that adorable big-eared bunny with his arms full of hearts! Again, the red & blue colors of the mailbox “sending love” card just caught my eye immediately!! Nice job on all of them, and happy new year!

  6. I love the shades and coloring on the images combined with the colors on the card. A true eye for what looks good together. I especially liked the mailbox card.
