CAS - Colours and Sketches #94

Happy Thursday!  It’s the beginning of a new month, and Jacqueline is our October challenge hostess at CAS – Colours and Sketches.  This week she’s come up with a color challenge for us.

I hesitated to use cute birdies on my design team sample card for this challenge because I’d used birds last week.  But in the end, I figured since this is a completely different stamp set, it really didn’t matter.  One of the challenge colors is a perfect sky color, and the other two colors worked pretty well for the birds. I’ve used a black pen to draw in the “wire” upon which the birds are perching.

Now that October has started, so have the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at Splitcoaststampers.com!  The cards created for this month long event will be donated to cancer patients for their use.  I’m excited to be hosting one of the challenges later this month!  Because I’m a hostess, I have insider info about all of the month’s challenges… and today’s card just *might* be a sneak peek of one challenge.  😉  Go check out the Hope You Can Cling To forum if you’d like to learn more.
