Hello! It’s time for another stash challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we’re asking our participants to pull their dies and/or punches out of their stash of crafting supplies and use them to create a Christmas or wintry card.
I’ve paired some of my snowflake dies with some snowflake patterned paper. I used coordinating designer paper to cut the snowflakes. I added some white shimmery paint to the paper before cutting the smallest snowflake. In retrospect, I kinda wish I’d done that for the white snowflake in the background, to help it show up better. Oh well. A simple sentiment banner and a few pearls finish off the card. The sentiment is one of my oldest unmounted stamps; it’s from a Purple Onion Designs set that has been retired. The layout for it is this week’s challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.
