Hello there!  It’s time for another sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.  This week’s offering is a rather clean and simple design that I think is really versatile for lots of different occasions.

It’s getting to be the time of year to start making Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards to be donated to Send a Smile 4 Kids, so that was how I chose the theme of today’s card.  I decided to use a wreath for the circular element.  Even though the wreath I used is from a Christmas themed stamp set, who says it can only be used for Christmas  cards?  Not me.  The light green leaves and the softly colored flowers make it a springtime wreath.  I stamped off the wreath once on scrap paper to get the lighter color leaves; the darker leaves are the ink at full strength. Along with the flowers, the sentiment banner gives the card a little dimension.
