Hello!  We’re back to another color challenge this week at CAS Colours & Sketches.  This time we have two pastels and a deep blue.

The pale pink and blue made me think of traditional “baby colors”, so I decided to make a baby-themed card.  I pulled out an old, long-retired Stampin’ Up stamp set to create a stack of blocks in the light colors.  Then I used the dark blue from the color scheme with some additional older stamps to add the image of the baby and a sentiment.  A dark blue mat frames the offset image panel.  I like how the baby image and the curvy sentiment contrast with all the square and rectangular shapes. Tiny rhinestones accent the stars to further carry out the “twinkle” idea of the sentiment.
