Hello!  It’s time for another color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

There’s a saying that goes “the third time’s the charm” and that proved true for me in making this week’s card.  I opted to go with a graphic design.  On my first attempt I didn’t mask my stencil well enough and got ink where it wasn’t supposed to be.  I opted for something completely different on my second try and didn’t like the way that ended up.  The third time, I used a different stencil.  Some time ago I made a stencil by cutting a few circles of various sizes from a piece of acetate.  I brushed the two lighter colors from the color combination into the circles.  Then I stamped a sentiment in the darkest color and attached the card front to a card base in the same navy blue.  I added a couple of enamel dots to finish the card.

We hope you’ll enjoy working with these bright colors and share your own card with us at CC&S!  You have until 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, July 22 to link your card at the challenge post.  Thanks for stopping by today!
