Hi there!  It’s time for another challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.  For the month of September, several of the design team members are taking turns as host each week.  Since it’s the first Tuesday, we have a color challenge for you to consider and I think it will put most everyone in the mood for autumn.

When I saw the colors I knew I would want to do something with a tree, so I chose this tried-and-true stamp set. (LOL, my first attempt at typing that I put “tried-and-tree”.)  I did some second-generation stamping to get the color variation in the leaves.  I didn’t think the green grass showed up very well, so I chose green ink for the sentiment and put a green mat behind the focal panel to try to boost that color of the challenge trio.

We’d love to see what you can create with this week’s colors!  Share your card at the CC&S website by 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, September 9, 2019.  Thanks for stopping by today!

All supplies for this card are from Stampin’ Up.
Stamps: Branch Out, Three Little Words
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Soft Suede

  1. I have this stamp set, too. It is so beautiful and classic. And your card let me think that I have to revisit this stamp set soon.

  2. What a delightful fall card.
