Happy Friday!  It’s time for another Paper Therapy Design Team challenge.  This time, the challenge is to make a card with a fold other than the standard 4.25″ x 5.5″ card fold.

I combined this challenge with this week’s Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple sketch challenge, and made a flap card.  I started out with a 5.5″ x 11″ piece of white cardstock, scored at 4.25″ and 8.5″.  I wanted to shape the smallest section (the flap) with my Creative Memories Oval cutting system, but the ovals didn’t fit quite right so I had to cut the cardstock down to 5″ x 11″.  Then I trimmed the flap to give it the rounded shape.  I sponged the sky and grass, stamped the tree, and used the thumping technique to stamp the leaves.  Then I added the sentiment.  Finally, I attached a set of very thin magnets to keep the card closed.
