Hello there! It’s time for the last challenge of the month at CAS Colours & Sketches. This week we have a sketch challenge for you to try.
I’ve turned the sketch 90° on its side, which made it necessary for me to change up the indicated placement of the sentiment, but otherwise I’ve stayed true to how the sketch was drawn. I used a background stamp on the dark green card base, in the same color as the cardstock, to give a little extra visual interest there.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’ll check out what the rest of the design team has made, and then join us over at CAS Colours & Sketches with your own take on this sketch! You have until 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, August 31 to link your card at the challenge website.
All supplies are from Stampin’ Up, except for the oval die.
Stamps: Lovely As a Tree, It’s Your Birthday, Sanded
Cardstock: Forest Foliage, River Rock, Confetti Cream
Ink: Forest Foliage
Other: petite oval Nestabilities die (Spellbinders)

Classy and CAS. Great use of monotones and I’m thinking this would also make a great Christmas card.
Ah, you make me want to bring out river rock and play with it! Wonderful card; I agree with Jane – this would be a great Christmas card too. This was a challenging – but fun – sketch!
Thanks for a fun sketch. I confess I wasn’t thinking great thoughts towards you for a while because I was stuck, but in the end I was really happy with where the card went. I really like yours and can see a CASE coming on with some changed colours to make Christmas cards. Liz x
Beautifully CAS, love your colour choice and I agree with Jane, this would make an awesome Christmas card. Thanks for a fun sketch this week. Hugs Bev x
