That’s right.  My older son turns 13 years old today.  icard.jpg

My younger son decided to give his brother an iTunes gift card and wanted me to make a card to go with it.  My friend Kathy (a/k/a Wrose) had shared this Valentine idea with my group of friends, so I decided to change it up into a birthday theme.  A shout of thanks goes out to my friend Victoria for helping me come up with song titles for the “playlist.”  I chose Stampin’ Up’s Green Galore cardstock because it most closely matches the color of my son’s iPod.  There’s no stamping on this card; I “drew” the wheelie thing in Microsoft Word and typed up the playlist using the Arial font.

I’m not going to make any smartalecky remarks about having a teenager, or wonder about where the time went, or anything like that.  I just hope my son knows I love him dearly, and that I’m proud of the young man he’s becoming.
