Anyone who’s been keeping up with my blog for a while knows I love crafting challenges. Last night I found a new-to-me challenge blog called Lawnscaping.  Although Lawn Fawn images are encouraged, they aren’t a requirement to be considered for the challenges there.  Well, it’s not like I needed any other excuse reason to use my Lawn Fawn stamps.

So here’s my first attempt at a Lawnscaping challenge.  This time they are asking to use distressing on your project. I used my distressing tool on the edges of the yellow cardstock.

I’ve combined this challenge with this week’s SCS Color Challenge, to use kraft, yellow and red.  I stamped the bunny on a scrap of cardstock and colored the heart and the tail with colored pencils. I did some simple backstitching to add an extra touch of red, and popped the bunny up with dimensional adhesive.

Even though this was my first Lawnscaping challenge, I don’t think it’ll be my last! And I have another card for my Operation Write Home stash!

Supplies:
Stamps: My Silly Valentine (Lawn Fawn)
Cardstock: Kraft, Daffodil Delight (Stampin’ Up)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Other: red embroidery floss (DMC); Premier colored pencils (Prismacolor); distressing tool (Making Memories); dimensionals (SU)
