This week’s challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown was to create a Christmas card using the triple time stamping technique.  I’ve done this technique once before, so I decided to give it a go again.

My first attempt didn’t even make it into a finished card.  Enough said.  My second attempt, with a different image, turned out kind of okay.  I did make it into a card but I think it needs some tweaking before it’s photograph-ready.  So I decided to start over again, and this time I listened to my gut instinct and went the “K.I.S.S.” route – “Keep It Simple, Stamper”.  This card is by far my favorite of the three, although the red seems a little overpowering to me.  I tried it with green layers but that didn’t look right with the poinsettia petals.  I probably should have stamped the sentiment in green.  But it’s definitely not my worst creation, LOL. And it was nice to pull out this older stamp set and use it again.

Thanks for stopping by! I do read all comments, and I appreciate each one.

All supplies used in creating this card are from Stampin’ Up.
Stamps: Paint Prints, Christmas Greetings
Cardstock: Real Red, Very Vanilla
Ink: Real Red, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron
