It’s time for the last CAS Colours & Sketches challenge of 2017, and we’re closing the year out with another seasonal challenge.  This week we’d like for our participants to choose one of our sketch challenges from 2017 and make a festive card with it.

I’ve decided to revisit challenge #233.  With its fairly big rectangular focal panel, this one is easy to adapt to a variety of ideas.  One of my newer stamp sets was practically begging to be used, so I’ve inked up these stamps from it for the first time and stamped them onto some scraps of white cardstock.  Then I colored the otter and the Santa hat and fussy cut them to attach to a rectangle cut from a watercolor wash I’d made.  The sentiment panel was also fussy cut to follow the curves of the words.   I attached the sentiment panel with dimensional adhesive and the card was done.
