Hello!  This week’s Sweet ‘n Sassy Digi Challenge is all about the beach!  If you’d like to join in, just create a project using a digital image of the beach or sand as your focal point, and link it to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Digi Challenge blog.  The rest of the design team and I would love to see what you make!

My card this week is pretty simple.  I actually made it about a week ago, thinking it would be kind of a test run of coloring this image, and that I’d make a “real” card for the challenge this week.  But after our power outage, my brain just felt scrambled and I couldn’t get back in my creative groove, so this card had to do.  For the blue panel, I ran the cardstock through my crimper, then turned the cardstock 90° and ran it through again, which loosened the fibers of the paper so I was able to gently pull it apart and get a nice soft texture on the “inside” side.  That’s the side I have facing up on the card.

Remember to “like” the Sweet ‘n Sassy Digi Challenge Facebook page if you haven’t yet!  Once it reaches 100 likes, three people will each win their choice of a digital image from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps store!
