Here’s a quick and simple birthday card I made for a friend who will be celebrating her special day next week.  I also made a twin of it for my Operation Write Home stash. I used OWH Stars & Stamps sketch #146 for the layout.  It felt nice to dust off one of the Stampin’ Up stamp sets I haven’t used in a long time and to pair it with some retired cardstock and designer papers.  In retrospect, I probably should have matted the striped designer paper that I used like a ribbon, so it would stand off from the green designer paper better.  But overall I’m pleased with how it turned out.
