I’m still working on some Mother’s Day cards for Operation Write Home, and here’s one I came up with using the colors from the current CAS – Colours and Sketches challenge. I think these are lovely colors for a springtime card. I’ve also been trying to complete some of the OWH Stars and Stamps sketches that I’ve missed. This card uses sketch #135, which is a great one for clean and simple cards with a few layers. Although the embroidery floss in the button looks almost black in the photo, it’s a good color match to the Rich Razzleberry ink. I just can’t leave buttonholes naked! LOL
My own tulips are not this tall and pretty yet; only about 2″ of foliage is peeking up from the ground. So I am looking forward to seeing them grow and bloom over the next month.
Thanks for stopping by today!
