I think my creative spirit from last month went out the window a few days ago. Today’s card is all right for a quick and easy card, I suppose, but I don’t consider it to be one of my better creations.
This one uses Lizzie Anne Designs weekly sketch #136 for the layout. I thought the diagonal lines were cool. I used a narrow strip of designer paper to set a monochromatic color scheme. The cupcake frosting is painted with Shimmerz, but unfortunately the photo doesn’t show that very well.

Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Whisper White, Raspberry Tart designer paper (Stampin’ Up)
Ink: Rose Red (SU); Onyx Black (VersaFine)
Other: Opal Shimmerz paint (Shimmerzpaints.com)

Its a great card Patricia. Love the paper piecing for the cupcake bottom to tie in the paper above.
I feel that way about my cards all the time – “it’s not my best work.” But you know what… I think that card is super cute! I hope you post it on the LAD Facebook page. I can’t be the *only* customer who posts my cards! I’m starting to look like their stalker fan! 😉 I love all your cards, Patricia.
I’m with Kate on this one. Artists, and particularly female artists, of which you are one, are notorious for undervaluing their work. I like this card, it’s simple (which is not bad) and I love the colors.

I really like the diagonal of this card!! That paisly (sp?) paper is just gorgeous!!! I’m sure the cupcake frosting looks terrific in person! Yummy 🙂
