I have to say I really enjoyed making today’s card.  One of my friends had a baby boy recently, and this is the card my family sent to them.  It just makes my heart happy to know how excited they are to have this new addition to their family, and how much that little guy is truly loved by his parents and big sister.

I had a hard time deciding exactly which papers from the Basic Grey Oh Baby! Boy collection to use, but I finally narrowed it down to these four.  That collection has so many great designs in it.  I used Lizzie Anne Designs sketch challenge #130 for the layout and stamps from the Lizzie Anne Designs May 2010 Monthly Mix set, “Dream Big”.  I chose to paper piece the birds, the moon and the hanging star from scraps of the Basic Grey papers instead of coloring the image by hand.
